Breathable, slim and smooth lenses = healthy eyes

A totally breathable lens ensures every part of the eye gets the oxygen necessary for healthy, happy, white eyes.3

Miru 1month sphere, toric and multifocal designs optimise oxygen transmissibility across the whole lens surface over the entire power range. Left,  the oxygen transmissibility of the multifocal toric Miru 1month compared to other multifocal toric lenses.4,5

NanoGloss™ technology

provides a super smooth surface, reducing bacterial biofilm adhesion and lipid deposits, supporting cleaner lenses for an exceptional contact lens experience.

Graphs bacteria deposits

Offering the lowest level of bacterial adhesion

Miru 1month demonstrates the lowest level of bacterial adhesion on worn lenses when compared to other silicone hydrogel lenses.6

Miru 1month showed 100% deposit-free findings on follow-up when using MeniCare soft solution.7

Thin edge design for comfort

Thin edges

Miru 1month lenses have a unique edge profile applied across the whole power range providing the ultimate in uniform comfort.

Despite the power, the lens periphery and the edge thickness remain the same, eliminating comfort differences between eyes due to variation in edge thickness between lenses.

Progressive Visiostable Design™

A lens designed to work with your eyes for clear, comfortable, stable vision

Design MFT

Unique stabilisation for the perfect fit

The intelligent horizontal and vertical designs match the eyelids’ natural asymmetric coverage of the cornea, which harnesses the natural lid force to optimise centration and prevents rotation. The symmetric vertical slab-off and horizontal stabilization zones provide excellent stability and reduces rotation to provide clear and consistent vision. As the slab-off is symmetric in this lens, there is not top or bottom of the lens, so it doesn’t matter how the customer applies the lens. Additionally, the customer doesn’t have to check any markings before applying the lens to the eye.

It’s a lens designed to work with eyes for clear, comfortable and stable vision, allowing the wearer to get on with life.

2-step Fitting Guide

Initial lens selection MFT NEW

Step 1 – Select lens

Start with a new, vertex corrected, refraction. Use Menicon Toric Calculator if needed.

  • Select least minus spherical power for distance, binocular measured.
  • Select cylinder power and axis.
  • Determine dominant eye.
  • Select the initial lenses.
Newr enhancement MFT NEW

Step 2 – Lens enhancement

After the patient tried the lens, do a check-up for the final lens order.

  • Discuss real-world experience findings near and distance.
  • Check stabilization based on the markings. Perform binocular over refraction and define least minus power for distance.

Check near vision quality.

  • In case of near vision enhancement is needed: Add +0.25D to the non-dominant eye.
